Crye-Leike's Jon Green Excels in Land Exchanges Course
Chattanooga, Tenn. - Robert Jon Green of Crye-Leike, Realtors recently completed the Realtors Land Institute's highly specialized course on tax deferred 1031 exchanges, one of the several required courses to attain the accredited land consultant (ALC) designation of which Green is pursuing.
Green is an affiliate broker with Crye-Leike, Realtors' East Brainerd branch office, located at 1510 Gunbarrel Road in Chattanooga. Licensed in Tennessee and Georgia, he serves the real estate needs of buyers and sellers in Bradley and Hamilton counties as well as in the surrounding counties of Catoosa and Walker in Georgia.
Green specializes in land acquisition for single families as well as multiple acres for investors. He is a member of the National, Tennessee, and Chattanooga Associations of Realtors.
Through the Realtors Land Institute program, Green studied the mechanics of the 1031 exchange as well as the rules and requirements of properties qualifying for exchanges. Completion of the course has provided Green with additional real estate knowledge in the areas of: safe harbors, qualified intermediaries, 1033 exchanges (eminent domain/involuntary loss of property), identification periods and holding periods.
